Week 3…what a shit show for some Superbowl contenders!!!  There were pleasant surprises and alarming disappointments so to make sense of it all I turned the floor over to Payneinsider for an adulterated rant.  Along with a recap of the weekend that was we shared our thoughts on Saints/Falcons and tipped our hand as to where the market might move on Week 4’s biggest games. Snowden got a thumbs up from both of us for entertainment value even if the accuracy left a whole lot be desired.  Regardless the podcast dream team hammered out another comprehensive edition with the best gambling intel you’ll find anywhere on the net. The Takeaways from Week 3 • It’s not time to hit the panic button in the desert but the outlook for NFC favorite Arizona isn’t gumdrops and unicorns. Described as a “jelly donut” by Payneinsder, the Cardinals failed to match Buffalo’s intensity on Sunday putting forth an absolutely horrific effort. While it’s obviously not a death knell, the team picked by many to win the division and conference needs to take a good hard look in the mirror and figure out their identity. • Carson Wentz isn’t going to be a first ballot hall of famer after three games but his start in Philadelphia is something worth noticing. However Wentz’ job gets considerably easier when the defense plays as well as it has thus far. Jim Schwartz’ stop unit is on another level right now heading into the bye week and if they can keep performing so well the rookie quarterback will only be asked to play within himself rather than win games entirely on his own. • The Dolphins have major issues.
