The regular season is over…the field of 16 is set for the inaugural elimination format in this year’s chase.  Jeff Gordon enters as a slight favorite over defending champion Jimmie Johnson.  Gordon’s odds are a fraction of what was available before the year when he was listed at 15-1 compared to the paltry 7-2 available right now.  In addition to Gordon’s quest to become champion again his closest competition will come from Johnson (4-1), Brad K (5-1), Kevin Harvick 5-1, and Joey Logano (8-1).  Despite being listed at 6-1, I refuse to believe Dale is a viable threat to win the title despite his 3 wins earlier this season (2 came at Pocono).  We covered all of this yesterday on Race Hub…stay tuned all fall as we look to break down each individual race while also seeking value in the new chase format. So we decided to try something new for the fall…new is good right?  Payneinsider  and I will be embarking on a season long quest to share some of the industry’s best information as it pertains to pro football. Last night we attacked all 6 power conferences (yes, the AAC counts too) on Let It Ride. The choice was pretty simple for some leagues where favorites will run away and hide.  However there were 2 leagues with prohibitive favs where penciling them into the playoff/conference championship game isn’t a foregone conclusion.  Be sure to tune into Fox Sports Live every Friday throughout the season as we’ll offer plenty of gambling advice on Let It Ride to get you to the window with great regularity all fall long...

It’s finally here!!! The start of a new college football season is less than a day away and we couldn’t be more excited…to handicap the worst college card in recent memory.  That didn’t stop us from getting fired up in an attempt to come out of the gates swinging.  Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on who you ask) we never broke down the entire B1G conference but I’m pretty sure that was more strategic than anything to protect Adam Kramer’s peace of mind.  In typical OTL fashion we hit on all the big games along with offering our best bets of the week…which offer outstanding fade bait. It’s the holy grail of college football conferences…the Sun Belt!!! No, just kidding, we tackled the SEC with gusto and enthusiasm of 10 5* recruits.  Unfortunately we couldn’t get to all 14 teams in the league with adequate depth (or at all) so inevitably there will be a handful of you angry certain programs got no love.  There was no debate on the podcast for who will come out of the west victorious but as much for the natural contrarian in me there was no shot I could peg the Tide conference champs.  Sit down, grab an adult beverage, and let the boys and I break it all down for you.
